One week after WAR Wrestling beat out GWA for full control of Lima’s brand of professional wrestling, an official notice was sent from WAR Wrestling owner The Postmaster confirming the release of GWA Commissioner Ripper Blackhart. Attached to the notice was a note that said, “WAR does not wish Ripper well in his future endeavors and hopes that he enjoys his time in the unemployment line.” The former GWA Commissioner could not be reached for comment, but those close to him say that he has been threatening legal action against WAR Wrestling for pain and suffering and defamation of character.

In fact, WAR Wrestling has made many changes to front office personnel since the takeover and is working towards getting WAR Wrestling up and running sometime in the future.

The Postmaster says, “When we come back, WAR will be better than ever. Mark my words.”

The sound of madness rang loud and clear when GWA and WAR faced off for full control of Lima Professional Wrestling at “All or Nothing” on October 4th from the UAW Hall in Lima Ohio. WAR Wrestling owner “The Postmaster” promised several surprises, and he delivered leaving the fans on the edge of their seats the entire night.

The show kicked off with Ripper Blackhart saying he was the voice of the Global Wrestling Alliance and that he would be calling the action tonight. The Postmaster came out and said that “The Voice of WAR” was on hand tonight as well. Slick Rick came out and The Postmaster proceeded to talk about Slick Rick as a family man and a hard worker. The three came to an agreement that Slick Rick would announce the WAR Stars and Ripper Blackhart would be announcing GWA stars.

Action got underway as Ripper introduced GWA’s first pick, Hardcore Craig. Slick Rick then announced that WAR’s pick was none other than “The Filthy Animal” Mike Dodge. Dodge managed to get a lot of quick offense in at the start of the match,. The turning point came when Dodge went for a split legged moonsault off the top rope, and Craig lifted his knees up to catch Dodge in the stomach. Even though Dodge tried to make a comeback, Hardcore Craig beat Dodge down relentlessly until he picked up the three count for the victory.

Winner: Hardcore Craig; Score: GWA – 1, WAR – 0

The next match saw GWA’s pick of “Mr. Ego” Cody Hawk Vs. WAR’s pick of Robby Starr. The match was back and forth, with a lot of cheating behind the referees back on Cody Hawk’s part. Towards the end of the match, General Lee came out and looked as if he was stalking the two in the ring. Then all of the sudden Sweet Daddy Me comes out from the back and attacks General Lee. The two brawl on the entranceway before disappearing in the back. With the referee out of position, Cody hawk gets a roll-up and uses the ropes for leverage to get the three count.

Winner: Cody Hawk; Score: GWA – 2, WAR – 0

Ripper Blackhart sounded confident when he announced “Hot Commodity” Matt Mason as Gwa’s pick, and Matt Mason came out to a decent crowd response. Ripper reminded Matt that he should be more focused. Slick Rick announced that WAR Wrestling’s past was on hand for this event… and introduced Dean Jablonski! Dean Jablonski comes out ready to fight. Mason goes to the outside and calls all of the children on hand for the event over for a huddle to get his game plan. Jablonski ends up dominating Mason for most of the match. Then Sherman Tank comes down the ramp, but before he can interfere, Dusty runs out and stops him. Tank is confused, but Dusty instructs Tank to hold on. Dean Jablonski ends up getting the pinfall as Dusty and Tank stand on the ramp looking on. Post match, Dusty gets the microphone and says that he runs the show, and that he gets to call the shots. Dusty says that he gets to choose when Mason gets helped. Then Dusty instructs Mason to get up and go to the back.

Winner: Dean Jablonski; Score: GWA – 2, WAR – 1

The Old School Empire make their way to the ring, and they are GWA’s next pick for a three on three. Mr. Main Event gets the microphone and says that it should be 3 on 1 on Stamp Lickage. Stamp Lickage and The Postmaster come out, and The Postmaster says it’s only fair to have three on three… and says that the past, present, and future of WAR will be delivered again. Slick Rick announces Stamp Lickage’s tag team partners for the event: Former WWE Tag Team… The Highlanders! The Highlanders come out to a huge positive crowd reaction. The Highlanders and Stamp focus on Mr. Old School’s arm for most of the beginning of the match, until the OSE is able to turn things around and isolate Stamp Lickage. Finally Stamp is able to make the tag to Rory, and Rory comes in and clears house. Rory launches Stamp Lickage head first into Mr. Old School’s gut. Then The Highlanders double team Mr. Main Event with their finisher to get the three count and the victory for WAR Wrestling!

Winners: Stamp Lickage w/ The Postmaster, The Highlanders; Score: GWA – 2, WAR – 2

Jerry Lawler came out for intermission and thanked the Lima fans. He told a few stories about growing up in Ohio, and then said that he had to leave for WWE’s “No Mercy” Pay Per View the following night. Lawler waved goodbye and the fans applauded him as he left.

Back from Intermission, Ripper announces Sherman Tank is the next GWA representative. Slick Rick announces that his opponent will be… “Bad Attitude” Brian Beech! There are no friendly words exchanged, as these two are bitter enemies and have been fighting each other for the past several months struggling for leverage in the battle between GWA and WAR. The match is back and forth with both men getting lots of hard-hitting offense in. The end comes when Brian Beech superkicks Tank. Tank stumbles backwards and gets his arms caught in the ropes! While Tank is tied up, the crowd chants for Beech to deliver another superkick. Beech listens, and goes for another superkick, but Tank gets out of the way just in time and Beech gets his leg caught up in the rope. It’s just enough for Tank to gain the advantages and get a quick roll-up for the three count.

Winner: Sherman Tank; Score GWA – 3, WAR – 2

Ripper Blackhart announces that GWA will be winning the next match and it will be the nail in the coffin for WAR Wrestling. Ripper announces The New Jihad with Jeremonius Madrox. They will be taking on the team of Steve Stone and a mystery partner. Steve Stone comes out, and his partner is no-where to be found. The match starts, and Steve Stone fends off The New Jihad with relative ease. As the match wears on, The Jihad begin to take turns beating on Stone, and a succession of quick tags keep Stone grounded. Just as it looks as if the Jihad might pick up the victory, the lights to the UAW Hall go out. Suddenly, music hits and the lights come back on, and “Evil Intentions” Elvis Elliott comes running down to the ring! Elvis runs over to the apron, and extends his hand for Stone to tag. Stone hesitates, but then finally makes the tag. Elvis comes in and clears house and ends up getting the three count on Ala Hussein! Post match, Stone and Elliott, who have a well documented feud that tore through WAR Wrestling a few years back, got involved in a staredown. Elvis extends his hand out for Stone to shake. The crowd chants “Shake his hand! Shake his hand!” and finally, Stone accepts the handshake. The two exit to the back having secured WAR Wrestling a victory and evening the score.

Winners: Steve Stone and Elvis Elliott; Score GWA – 3, WAR – 3

Dusty Dillinger comes out and announces that WAR Wrestling doesn’t have any other wrestlers in the back, so that they forfeit and the winners of the best of seven is Dusty Dillinger his GWA stars. The Postmaster’s music hits and he comes down to the ring. Dusty Dillinger takes his jacket off and says he’s ready to fight The Postmaster. The Postmaster says he’s not the one that Dusty will face, and re-iterates that WAR Wrestling has a plan. The Postmaster whispers in Slick Rick’s ear Dusty’s opponent. Slick Rick announces that Dusty Dillinger’s opponent is none other than WWE Hall of Famer… Jerry “The King” Lawler!!!! The fans go insane, as Lawler comes out dressed to wrestle. Dusty cannot believe it.

Dusty and Lawler wrestle a back and forth match until Hardcore Craig and Matt Mason come out. Dusty Dillinger launches Jerry Lawler into the turnbuckle, then runs in for a spear. Lawler moves out of the way, and Dusty goes all the way through the ropes, hitting his shoulder on the post, and landing hard to the outside! Lawler follows. Suddenly, Beech and Stone come running down the ramp in pursuit of Hardcore Craig and Matt Mason. A brawl ensues until the referee calls for the bell. Slick Rick announces that the referee has deemed the match a countout. The WAR Stars plead with the fans and GWA to make it a 3 on 3 for full control: Brian Beech, Steve Stone, Jerry Lawler Vs. Dusty Dillinger, Hardcore Craig, and Matt Mason. Finally, GWA accepts.

GWA isolates Brian Beech in their corner, and they make a quick succession of tags and take turns beating Beech down. However, at one point Matt Mason tags Dusty by slapping him in the face. Dusty is pissed and confused. After some more offense on Beech, Dusty tags Mason back in. Mason does some offense of Beech again. Dusty has his back turned, yelling at the fans, and Mason walks over and tags him in by slapping him on the back. Dusty gets in the ring, and pushes Mason aside. Mason shoves back, knocking Dusty down. Lawler gets in and kicks Dusty in the gut then sets him up and delivers a huge piledriver! The crowd counts as the referee makes the 1-2-3!

Winners: WAR Wrestling; Score: WAR – 4, GWA – 3

Post match, the WAR stars celebrate, and Stamp Lickage comes out to join them. The Postmaster announces that Matt Mason was a mole and working for WAR Wrestling the whole time. The Postmaster thanks the fans, and says that the WAR stars have busted their butts and now they finally got their justice. The Postmaster says that WAR Wrestling is going to come back stronger than ever, and tells the fans to stay tuned!

GWA and WAR Wrestling have presented some of the biggest stars in professional wrestling, but never have they brought WWE Color Commentator and wrestling legend Jerry “The King” Lawler. Jerry “The King” Lawler will be live in person at the UAW Hall in Lima, Ohio on Saturday night October 4th at 6:30p.m. Lawler is expected to sign autographs and be available for pictures before the show and during intermission.

Word has it that “The King” is coming to Lima on his own terms, and is not affiliated with The Global Wrestling Alliance or W.A.R. Wrestling. What will Jerry Lawler have to say about the hostile environment surrounding WAR Wrestling and The GWA?

Plus: Dusty Dillinger laid down the challenge and The Postmaster accepted a “Best of 7″ series featuring GWA and WAR stars for complete control of Lima’s brand of professional wrestling. Stars of GWA and WAR will compete in a series of matches, and the first team to win 4 matches will gain complete control of the company. The Postmaster has said “The Past, Present, and Future” of WAR Wrestling will be on hand to take out the GWA and regain claim of the promotion that was once theirs. But one can only assume that GWA Owner Dusty Dillinger has already formed plans to guarantee his success.

With this bitter rivalry brewing for months, which promotion will come out on top and have complete control of the company? What will it mean for the losers?

It all goes down in the biggest show of the year on Saturday night October 4 at the UAW Hall in Lima Ohio.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 or a 4 Pack Special for $30 at Rigali’s Pizza Village. All tickets at the door are $12.

Doors will open at 6:30p.m. and the action will begin at 7:30p.m. Don’t forget to arrive early for your opportunity to meet and greet with wrestling legend Jerry “The King” Lawler.

Stay tuned to www.gwaglobal.com and www.warwrestling.com for a list of stars confirmed as well as up to date information regarding the October 4th event.

After one of the most gruesome matches in the history of GWA and WAR, it was confirmed earlier today that Brandon Blaze tore his ACL in the “Fans Bring the Weapons” Match on September 6th at Global Domination.

In addition to tearing his ACL, Blaze was also put through a flaming table by WAR Wrestlers “Bad Attitude” Brian Beech and “Metal Head” Steve Stone. Brandon Blaze was lit on fire and suffered minor burns as a result.

After meeting with his doctor after the match, the doctor confirmed that the ACL was torn. The ACL also known as the anterior cruciate ligament is one of the four major ligaments of the knee. According to multiple sources, the ACL is the most commonly injured knee ligament and is commonly damaged by athletes.

As a result of the injury, Brandon Blaze will be out for an unknown amount of time.

The battle between GWA and WAR has been taken to the extreme, and the participants on both sides have put their bodies on the line for some of the most physically intense matches showcased in Lima thus far. When he heard of the news that one of his top GWA stars had been injured, Dusty Dillinger was said to be furious and that WAR Wrestling “must be eliminated for good.” GWA and WAR are set to face each other in a best of 7 series on October 4th, 2008 from the UAW Hall in Lima.

Stay tuned to the GWA Vs. WAR website for any updates regarding Brandon Blaze’s condition and up to the minute news on GWA and WAR happenings.

Ripper Blackhart kicked off the show by firing “Slick Rick” and appointing himself the ring announcer for the evening. Ripper Blackhart says that he’s here to take control.

The New Jihad Vs. MII

Ala Hussein & Kaden Hassad w/ Jeremy Madrox Vs. Eddie Venom & Jaimy Coxxx

Winner: “The Jihad” Ala Hussein & Kaden Hassad

The match went back and forth with the new Jihad team showing a lot of teamwork. The Jihad managed to isolate Jaimy Coxxx in their corner for a good portion of the match. Then Jaimyt managed to come back with a double DDT on the new Jihad, and goes for the tag. Jeremy Madrox runs around the ring and pulls Eddie Venom’s leg as Jaimy goes for the much needed tag. Eddie, distracted, chases Jeremy to the back as Ala holds Jaimy up and Kaden Hassad delivers a backcracker for the three count. Venom comes back post match, frustrated, and the crowd gives The Michigan Invasion a good reaction.

After the match, the crowd was introduced to Sweet Daddy Me, a new wrestler in GWA Vs. WAR. Sweet Daddy Me says he’s here because he “Keeps it Pimpin’”. Out comes Jefferson Davis III who insults Sweet Daddy Me and his pimpin’ lifestyle. Jefferson Davis III promises to bring out a wrestler to take care of Sweet Daddy Me later in the night and give the fans something to look up to. The two exit to the back, but not before Sweet Daddy Me proclaims “We Keeps it Pimpin’!!!” much to the crowds delight.

Scarboni Vs. A New Face

Sonny Scarboni w/ Vinny Scarboni Vs. TD

Winner: Sonny Scarboni

The Scarboni’s made no secret of their cheating ways as Vinny Scarboni consistently cheated on behalf of his brother. At one point, Vinny grabbed TD’s leg from the outside, and TD chased him around the ring. Just as TD almost had Vinny, Sonny came back with a hard clothesline on the outside to stun TD. Sonny Scarboni eventually picks up the victory via pinfall.

The beginning of the match saw the “Rookies” clear the ring of the OSE and then Onyx press slammed Mike Dodge over the top rope onto the Old School Empire. Onyx proved to be a powerhouse in the match, while Mike Dodge showed his amazing high flying abilities. The end saw Dodge being maimed by the OSE, before he turned it around and made the hot tag to Onyx. Onyx cleared house until the OSE regained the upper hand and Jeff King got his bearhug on Ganger. Mr. Old School came in and double teamed with a devastating claw on Ganger’s head, until Ganger finally passed out from the pain. Jaimy Coxxx ran down to the ring in an effort to save N8 and talk some sense into Eddie, but Eddie delivered a huge double handed sit-out chokeslam to Coxxx. Eddie grabs the microphone and says The Michigan Invasion is through and now Eddie Venom is on his own.

GWA Vs. WAR

Sherman Tank Vs. Gutter

Winner: Gutter

A back and forth match that saw many “Dusty Sucks” chants and the crowd getting behind Robby Starr.
Post match, Dusty grabs the mic and says he’s sick of WAR Wrestling and that it’s dead and that he killed it a long time ago. He said that to put the final nail in the coffin of WAR Wrestling him and Ripper came up with a brilliant idea. Dusty challenges WAR wrestling to a Best of 7 Series at the October 4th Show for complete control of Lima’s brand of professional wrestling.
The two teams took it to eachother in one of the most brutal matches the UAW Hall has ever seen. Hardcore Craig used a cheese grater to rip open the forehead of Steve Stone. Steve Stone took a baseball bat to Brandon Blaze. Beech was launched headfirst into a chair by Brandon Blaze. Mousetraps, wooden boards, whips, pieces of metal, and even thumbtacks were used by the competitors to batter and bloody their opponents.
